Skate Skiing at Red Lodge Nordic Center

We spend a couple of days at Red Lodge doing some skate skiing. Early season condtions, and cold, but a lot of fun! Tomorrow we will make some turns at the resort.

Mt. Biking Blue Diamond, Gooseberry Mesa, and Bookcliffs at Fruita–and Black Bean.

We went and rode around the Bootleg trails in Boulder City, Nevada today. These are some great trails which Boulder City built, it was a lot of fun!

While the skiing wasn’t that great this weekend, ranging from some nice corn in the sun, to a frozen lunar landscape in the shade, pockmarked and cratered, it was nevertheless great to get up to 13,000 feet in the mountains on a bluebird day!

Another great weekend in Durango! Sarah did the 42k Tour de Ski skating race, and I headed up North of Silverton for the best turns of the year!
